Established in the early 1600s, Marché des Enfants Rouges is the oldest covered market in town.
Located in the Haut Marais at Rue de Bretagne, it counts with food stalls serving ready-to-eat dishes from around the globe and it’s a meeting point of the locals on weekends. 🍚

Restaurant Ma Salle à Manger

Ma Salle à Manger located at Place Dauphine was a delightful surprise! French food with Basque influence + cozy and warm atmosphere + friendly service! The dining room is small, with a Basque style decor (as you can tell by the vintage red tablecoth). For dessert I had the crème brulée and it’s to die for! Can’t wait to come back, but next time I wanna sit at their cute terrace overlooking Place Dauphine!

Square du Vert-Galant

Square du Vert-Galant, on Île de la Cité! That’s one of my fav spots to picnic! 🍞🍷

If you have ever been to Paris, you may have visited this square, but doesn’t know its name. In the end of Île de la Cité, under the Pont Neuf, behind Notre Dame, there is a green area right by the Seine.

The square pays tribute to Henri IV and his affairs. I love the quiet, bucolic and romantic atmosphere here! Perfect for a picnic on sunset time! Bring a towel to set it up nicely!
